Significant board-level experience in the health, private, and non-governmental sectors. Currently the Senior Strategy Adviser – Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for a major UK civil society organisation.

About me

I am a maximalist of decentralization. Having only vaguely heard of Bitcoin in its infancy, I had the chance, unlike some, to discover the Blockchain and its underpinnings before cryptocurrencies. Indeed, it was the advent of Ethereum and the revolutionary emergence of dApps that then activated my interest in this nascent ecosystem, in this paradigmatic shift… After this discovery, there followed a fortuitous participation in the international competition “Atos IT Challenge”, which honored the Blockchain in this year 2016; my team and I were shortlisted to develop a project in international trade.

My journey to Sparkso

It was from this precise moment that the idea of undertaking in this field settled in my mind… but the real opportunity only presented itself in February 2021, with the creation of Sparkso. In the meantime, I was able to sharpen my knowledge and, above all, take the necessary distance from any innovation that causes a stir.

My atypical career, ranging from executive in different contexts of the banking sector in Algeria to project manager and consultant in information systems in France, has allowed me to develop a great versatility as well as a certain adaptability. And I am convinced that these aspects of my career have mainly contributed to fostering my appetite for entrepreneurship.

My vision of the world of tomorrow adheres to the principles of holacracy, advocating structures totally free from the pyramidal model of governance which, today, is running out of steam from all points of view, in particular on the question of our relationship to value under its different prisms (work-value, utility-value, scarcity-value). With Sparkso, I will do my best to infuse these principles with method, pragmatism and, hopefully, success.

About myself

I have over twenty years global investment banking experience. I worked in fund management, risk management, consultancy and advisory roles which gave me the opportunity to work on several large-scale transformation programs from bonds issuance program to implementation of risk management systems. I have since held business international business development roles for several large-scale IT companies to tech start-ups. I co-founded Sparkso in 2021, and I am Director of Sparkso.

How I get involved in Blockchain ecosystem?

After a master’s degree in finance and insurance from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, I was a junior economist trainee. I was very fond of developing trading algorithm on stocks market & Forex. I follow the tech industry to invest and trade as the return was good, and those companies had huge potential. Then 10 years ago, I heard about Bitcoin and crypto currencies, I noticed than they behaved like FX, I resumed trading bots’ development on BTC.

At first glance, it looked like any other Forex Currencies, but it was a mistake and I lost money, so I started to check what was behind those cryptos. I discovered the huge potential of the blockchain.

Why I joined Sparkso?

As I held business development advisory roles for tech start-ups, I met many entrepreneurs with great ideas, wonderful projects that unfortunately failed. So I asked myself why ?  I came to the conclusion that it was because they didn’t had access to the right person at the right time. They didn’t have these persons in their connections. That was the dilemma:  to find someone you don’t know but you can trust.

Here comes the blockchain with its transparency and smart contracts! Sparkso was born! Bring trust between people!

About me

I am lucky to do what I love to do and care about; to create, to design, to set up a project from scratch for several months with a team where we are all complementary.

As an entrepreneur, I had already worked on projects with an associate but never on an international project with several associates based in different countries. And here I was able to make beautiful encounters and launch myself with determination into the creation of Sparkso.

The Blockchain journey

Very early in my career, sales and negotiation that attracted me and led me to quickly become a sales manager, in the web sector, then in technology and HRIS. I realized to what extent HR issues and more specifically those of recruitment determine the survival of a company.

So I am passionate and try to help customers respond to them by creating my first company Beright.
But when the covid crisis hit us hard a few months later, I had to find new leverages for commercial development. I faced on several occasions with the dilemma of finding right person in right place at the right time.

It was during those challenging time, that the idea of creating the Partnerplace Spirlso occurred, which responds to the need for companies to quickly find new levers of growth via automated partnerships.
We therefore decided with my partners to integrate the Blockchain into Spirlso, in order to benefit from the advantages of Smart Contracts and their proven usefulness on the market.

We then founded Sparkso, Sparkso which will be the “Marketplace of Ideas” allowing services and applications of all types to be able to benefit from the advantages of the Blockchain and to democratize its use in our collaborative modes.
I am very proud and very happy to be the Co-founder and to be able to contribute to this business project.
